Architecture
As an architect, I have worked on urban planning projects, residential buildings, homes for the elderly, office buildings, museums and more. Successful competition submissions have often been a fruitful manner to obtain commissions, while collaborating with numerous offices throughout Switzerland, Italy, Germany and the USA.
Product Design
I have designed and produced prototypes in varied scales and materials that have yielded products for home and office use. Examples are shown here of my own ceramic cast dishware and a hand blown glass decanter. Experimentation with painting, drawing, photography, collage, graphic design and other media, in tandem with my architectural training have enriched the uniqueness of my product designs. International life experiences further enhanced my aesthetic approach.

Architect
During my career in the USA and Europe, my design contributions have been in large and small scale projects. It has been my pleasure to teach design at the University level in both Zürich and Mendrisio, Switzerland.
Artist
Pursuing art has offered a welcome contrast to my career in architecture. The freedom to experiment in painting, drawing, photography, collage, ceramics, graphic design and more has developed my aesthetic sense across disciplines and brought me joy.
Landscape Designer
I bring my love of nature to the full range of site development, including hardscape, plantings and lighting. An example of the success of this integrated vision is my exterior design for a large housing project in Barbengo, Switzerland.

In parallel with my career in architecture, documenting my travels through painting and sketching has been a consistent practice. Creating graphic compositions, collages, drawings, and photography has been an enjoyable pass time.
